The Backyard Hockey League will participate in a highly anticipated documentary entitled "The Hockey Film" which will be released in North America in 2019. Being produced and directed by filmmaker and hockey enthusiast Chris Aylward and his production company Cinematic North from Canada. The full length feature film is a compilation of hockey stories that explores the tradition, culture and the passion that each and every hockey player shares for the greatest game on earth. This highly touted documentary has been featured on BARDOWN and is shot from the view of those who aren't millionaires but instead live and breath the sport for simply the love of the game.
