CANADA DAY will mark the opening of registration for new players looking to compete in New Zealand's Hockey House for the 2016-2017 campaign. *If you've Pre Rregistered you will recieve a Draft Day application from the BHL. Once approved by BHL commitee you can now complete registration by following below*

Once Approved .....  To Complete Registration :

- Franchises will determine the draft order with the annual BHL Draft Lottery.

-This season the BHL will retain the 6 franchise format on draft day and each franchise will draft 30 players along with 3 Goaltenders

- Each franchise will have two teams ( 1 BHL & 1 FHL )

- Each franchise will then hold a 2 icetime selection camp
(After the Draft)

-Each franchise will then name thier "first 15" players along with one goaltender. This will become thier BHL team.

- The remaining 15 players and two goaltenders will become that franchises' FHL team.

- ALL Players will be allowed to move from BHL to FHL and vice versa throughout the season (these movements will need to be approved)

- Fees are the same reguardless of which league you play in

- Both BHL and FHL will play the same amount of games and same playoff format.
